On May 17, 2023, at the office of the Jagiellonian Research Center for African Studies (JRCAS) at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University, took place a meeting between the volunteers of the Foundation “Agandi” belonging to the Youth Council of Krakow, Weronika Stanuch and Agnieszka Kowalska, with the Director of the JRCAS, prof. Robert Kłosowicz. The conversation concerned the activities of the Foundation “Agandi” aiming at helping street children in Uganda and the efforts made by volunteers to improve the life of communities in Africa. The issues of possible cooperation between JRCAS and the Foundation in promoting knowledge about Africa and organizing events in which Student Section of the JRCAS could be involved were also discussed.
