„The Different Faces of Africa” – an exhibition of photos by Prof. Robert Kłosowicz organized as part of the celebration of 50th anniversary of the Africanist Museum in Olkusz

On December 3, 2021, we invite you for the exhibition of photos by Prof. Robert Kłosowicz entitled “The Different Faces of Africa”, organized by the Municipal Cultural Center in Olkusz and the Jagiellonian Research Center for African Studies as part of the 50th anniversary of the Bogdan and Bożena Szczygieł Africanist Museum in Olkusz. The Museum, which is now part of the Municipal Cultural Center in Olkusz, is the only institution of this type in Poland. Its collections consist of exhibits related to the everyday life, culture, beliefs, and traditions of the inhabitants of West and Central Africa, as well as the Anna and Leon Kubarski Collection of Black African Art and Painting.

The opening of the exhibition with the accompanying lecture will start on December 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. The exhibition will be open until January 5, 2022.
