Meeting with dr. Adam Knapik

On Monday, March 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the building of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations (Conference Room) there will be a seminar with Dr. Adam Knapik organized by the Jagiellonian Research Center for African Studies. Dr. Knapik is an expert working at the Polish Science Contact Agency's (PolSCA) of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Brussels (more information about the institution can be found on the website: http://polsca.pan.pl/).

On Monday, March 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the building of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations (Conference Room) there will be a seminar with Dr. Adam Knapik organized by the Jagiellonian Research Center for African Studies. Dr. Knapik is an expert working at the Polish Science Contact Agency (PolSCA) of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Brussels (more information about the institution can be found on the website: http://polsca.pan.pl/). The meeting will consist of two parts. The first one will include the presentation of information about the activities of the PolSCA in Brussels and the possibilities of financing academic research with European funds, as well as the new framework program "Horizon Europe" planned for the years 2021-2027 with budget that will amount to approx. 100 billion euros. The second part of the seminar will be devoted to the most important facts related to the Francophonie, with particular emphasis on the French-speaking area of Africa and its development prospects in the following decades of this century.
