The first issue of the journal “Politeja”, devoted to discussing Africa, edited by Professor Robert Kłosowicz of the Jagiellonian University

The Księgarnia Akademicka publishing house has just released the first issue of the journal “Politeja. The Journal of the Faculty of International and Political Relations Jagiellonian University” edited by Professor Robert Kłosowicz. The volume was devoted to “African Studies” and consisted of 22 articles written in English by Polish and foreign authors.

The Contributors to this volume, including members of the Jagiellonian Centre for African Studies and researchers representing other Polish and Central European universities, discussed various aspects of what is broadly referred to as ‘African Studies’. The range of topics included such disciplines as political science, international relations, security studies, cultural studies, history, development studies, economics, and law. This diversity complements the variety of research perspectives present at the Jagiellonian University Faculty of International and Political Studies.
