Dr Gabi Hesselbein’s course “Development and its Challenges: History, Theory, Policy, Empirics and Methodology”
The Jagiellonian Centre for African Studies invites you to participate in a course conducted by the visiting professor Dr Gabi Hesselbein, specializing in research into African development issues.
From 16th to 26th November 2015, Dr Hesselbein will teach a 16-hour course entitled Development and its Challenges: History, Theory, Policy, Empirics and Methodology. The classes will be in the form of lectures and seminars. A detailed description and the information on how to get credit for the course have been made available in the attachment.
The course is organised within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies project “Society-Technologies-Environment” (www.set.uj.edu.pl) and is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the European Social Fund. The course participants will be obliged to fill out a declaration of participation in the project, i.e. a PESF (an ESF requirement).
